ARLEIGH'S POV The sun shone on my face causing me to wake up. My hand went to the sides of the bed to look for Laurent and Lance but I realized they were gone. I opened my eyes and the ceiling greeted me. A smile curved my face when I remembered what happened last night. But where are they? "I sent them out for a task if that's what you're wondering," said a person inside the room. She jumped and immediately covered herself with the blanket. She looked where the voice came from and realized it was from Hawke. "What are you doing here?" I asked. He turned to face me. His face was cold as usual. "I came here to deliver a task to your boyfriends. The war has begun," he said and then looked at her state. "I advise you to wear something and follow me out." Then he jerked at the clothes on the chair. As far as I can remember, those clothes were left in the living room. Did he pick them up to bring to the bedroom?
