Beatrice took a sip of coffee and denied, "Are they not on good terms with each other? I haven't heard anything about that."
Hannah leaned back in her chair, her gaze drifting to the floor. She noticed Beatrice's toes slightly raised, swaying left and right. It was a telltale sign of her lying.
"If you're going to be this insincere, there's no point in us continuing this conversation," Hannah stated as she grabbed her bag, ready to leave.
