"What does this have to do with you?"
Joseph's cold, heartless words were devoid of any warmth, and Maureen stumbled back a step. She had known Joseph for as long as Hannah had—nearly half a lifetime.
For the past 15 years, when Hannah disappeared, Maureen tried very hard to fill that void. But now, it seemed that she was nothing more than a stranger to Joseph.

He continued, "From now on, mind your own business. Don't meddle in any of the Quill family's affairs, and don't think you can get close to Penny for your own benefit.
"And don't even think about using the Quill family's name for anything anymore."
