Hannah was like a curious child when she saw the technological advances and changes in the city that had occurred over the past 15 years—they were significant, after all. Curiosity was an emotion that was hard to conceal. It showed in one's gaze and was easy to pick up on. Besides, Hannah didn't bother hiding her curiosity. It made her seem like a blank piece of paper waiting to be colored on. Of course, that was just what she seemed like. Her demeanor wasn't like someone who'd never seen the world, so a passerby guessed she was pretending to be naive and gullible. This was what a woman looking around the same store as Hannah thought. Her suspicions were solidified when she saw Joseph following Hannah. Hannah knew she had to act like she knew nothing to attract the attention of mature men—the one with her obviously had a successful career and plenty of money! The scantily-clad woman flipped her curls over her shoulder, revealing her left side, which was her good side. She couldn't
