I nearly dropped the glass of water in my hands at Dr. Adkins' words. The sip I had just taken caught in my throat and sent me into a coughing fit.
I looked at Dr. Adkins, puzzled. "He's running a high fever, so why not bring it down first?"
Dr. Adkins pointed at Darren and countered, "Am I not bringing it down?"
