Mom let out a deep breath. "You're always distracted by your phone. A huge snake was coming right toward you, and you didn't even notice. If I hadn't turned around, you wouldn't have known about it!"
Aunt Betty wiped the sweat from her forehead, still shaken. "We've been growing peaches here for over ten years, and we've never seen a snake before."
