Penelope, afraid of a repeat of the previous incident, decisively picked up a pillow and got out of bed, heading to the other side of the room. Kenny’s eyes instantly filled with hurt, not understanding why Penelope suddenly didn’t want to sleep with him anymore. Penelope, feeling a rush of panic and worried Kenny might misunderstand, quickly lowered her voice and explained gently, "I've always been used to sleeping alone. It's not because of you, and I'm not angry." Seeing the devastated look on Kenny’s face, she couldn't help but softly call, "Kenny." For reasons she couldn't understand, when she saw Kenny’s expression, she almost said “there, there” to comfort him. But that seemed too childish, considering he was a renowned CEO who wouldn’t be swayed by her. "Alright." Although filled with confusion, Kenny chose to agree.
