A man suddenly appeared by Abelas's side. Haichin recognized him; he was Abelas's confidant, Olei. Hernokov was staying with Olei's relatives. Seeing Olei approach Abelas, Haichin knew that Hernokov had begun to act. Sure enough, after saying something to Abelas, Olei's face suddenly turned serious.
