After closing the door, Haichin shut out the joyful laughter of Eibertus and the shy responses of Amelia. She flopped onto the bed ungracefully, lying spread-eagled. Being cautious about the recording devices in the room, she chose to message Adair instead of making a call, expressing her wish to meet Isaac Covinas.
