After walking for a while, Fox took another look at the current era. Currently, the Internet boom had not yet arrived, and a series of grand plans in his mind were likely unfeasible. He thought it best to start by writing scripts to earn some money. Then, with that money, he would start some small to medium-sized businesses. With continuous operation, these businesses should be quite profitable. In 2004, making money wasn't too difficult; opportunities were everywhere. Later, when he entered college, he could improve himself and meet companions. By then, the businesses he started would likely have grown significantly.
