Chapter 69 Fleeing the Scene
Isabel had never thought of running away. After all, they weren’t at fault. But Mod’s anxious warnings and her grandfather’s heavy breathing forced her to face the imminent danger.
Seeing this, Tyre gently patted Isabel on the shoulder and said soothingly, “Isabel, listen to your grandfather. You all should leave; I’ll handle things here. Trust me, I’ll be fine.”

Tyre just smiled lightly, “It’s alright. We’re friends, aren’t we? Friends should understand and support each other.” His simple and sincere words brought warmth to Isabel's heart.
Though she was reluctant, Isabel knew now wasn't the time to hesitate. She took a deep breath and, with Mod, began to help Justin down the mountain.
“Wait, your grandfather’s foot is sprained. Going down the mountain will be very difficult and dangerous. Let me help him first,” Tyre said suddenly.
