Chapter 7: Racing Against Time

　　The coffee shop was just as busy as it had been when Sally and Melisa had their counselling session. Sally's heart raced as she checked her phone once more, seeing multiple missed calls and urgent messages from Gavin. Panic gnawed at her as she realized that she had missed the opportunity to meet him earlier. 　　Frantically, Sally tried calling Gavin back, her fingers trembling with worry. But each attempt only led to voicemail, and there was still no response from him. Her mind raced with concern as she thought of all the possible reasons for his urgency. 　　With determination, Sally decided to head to the coffee shop where Gavin had asked to meet. She hailed a taxi and rushed to the destination, her mind filled with a mix of regret and fear for what might have happened during the time she had been occupied with Melisa's counselling session. 　　Arriving at the coffee shop, Sally scanned the surroundings, searching for any sign of Gavin. Her heart sank as she didn't spot him anywhere.
