Chapter- Old maggot Suddenly, they heard a commotion coming from the outside, Oswald looked on confused until he saw the smile on Elsie’s face as if saying, Right on time. He understood that as he thought, she didn’t really act on her own. The old man’s eyes darted everywhere, he looked very angry as his forehead was furrowed and his fists were clenched beside him. He glared at Elsie and Oswald and took his golden stick, he pulled out something from it and it appeared to be a gun. He pointed it at Oswald and Elsie quickly stepped in front of him. The man saw her action and sneered and then he asked, What? You want to become his shield? I don’t think you should be thinking that way when you both are dying? Just then, a blast was heard and the building shook, the man was shocked and so, Oswald caught him off guard and knocked the gun out of his hand.
