Chapter 93
[Meet me at the restaurant, 2pm]
That was the text message Elias had sent Lucien.
Glancing from the message to the entrance of the restaurant, Lucien sighed.
It was barely noon and here he was, sitting in the middle of a restaurant, waiting for the other party to arrive.
What a pain, he thought, picking up the menu and busying himself by looking through it. He had better things to be doing, things that would benefit him greatly, yet here he was, waiting for Elias Wrenford, to show up.
And to make matters worse, the old man was thirty minutes late! If he could walk out of here, Lucien would have done so since twenty minutes ago.
But he couldn't, because his curiosity was piqued. Although he was Elias's disciples, the man rarely interacted with him. Yet, here he was, demanding an audience.
If that wasn't interesting, Lucien wasn't sure what else could be.
And just the thoughts of that alone, made the corners of his lips curl up in anticipation.
He really wondered what his dearest Mentor
