Evangeline could feel her skin burning with rising anger towards what Ivory had said as she stormed her way back into Gadreel’s ward. As she walked in, Evangeline noticed that he had gotten off his bed and now stood by the window, staring at nothing in particular, but it was clear in his eyes that he was thinking about something…or rather, someone.
