The following day, despite what has happened the night before, Gadreel woke up to an empty bedside. The pillow, the sheet, the whole mattress were empty and cold, suggesting that the occupant had left quite a while ago. Gadreel found that this outcome immediately soured his mood. He frowned, but made no effort whatsoever to get up from the bed and chase after her. Rather, his mind replayed what had happened the previous mind.
