The room was empty and the sky had darkened by the time Ivory woke up. The rumbling of her stomach, was the first thing that greeted her as her nose picked up on the enticing aroma that hung in the air. However, she made no effort to get up. Staring blankly at the ceiling, she allowed the events of the past few days, replay in her mind. Her chest ached and the back of her eyes burned.
