Chapter 129
It was dark, but the first thing Ivory heard was the sound of ringing in her ear. Her entire body ached, her head felt like it was ready to split open, but the pain, compared to the ringing, was nothing.
"Fuck," she muttered and tried to move, but paused the moment she heard something watery...

She quickly became aware of her surroundings, of the feeling of water drenching her cloth and quickly filling up the car.
They had fallen off the bridge. The car was sinking.
"Gadreel!" She called out, the first thought on her mind was that of his. "Gadreel!" She repeated his name, this time around, a bit louder.
But the response wasn't immediate. There was no answer, nothing.
Panic began rising inside Ivory and she snapped her head towards the driver's seat, only to find that Gadreel was unconscious.
"Gadreel!"
