Chapter 127
Gadreel had gotten back home about an hour ago and began his search, yet, he hadn’t found the ledger.
Sitting at the edge of his bed, hand perched on his knee and brows drawn together, Gadreel was deep in thought, trying his best to figure out where the ledger was.
The last place he had left it, secure and safe, was here, in his bedroom. But just to be sure, he has also checked the safe in his house office.
Nothing.
He has searched underneath his bed and beneath and between the pile of files in his office.
Nothing. The ledger was nowhere to be seen. If he didn’t know any better, he would have said that someone has come in and stolen in.
But that was impossible, seeing as the only people who had access to the house were him, his grandmother who was obviously not a suspect to begin with, Jennifer, well, that old lady was just as she is, an old lady, too content with life to think of doing something so stupid and later come to work.
