Liam "She is what?" I asked surprised "She is pregnant, about three weeks gone," The doctor said and I did a rough calculation in my head which confirms that the child is mine, a result of what happened between us in Canada about three weeks ago. "Congratulations ma'am," the doctor said but Laura's mouth was open and it doesn't look like she heard the doctor congratulating her. "Um, can you leave us alone for a while? Also, make sure a word about this doesn't get out," I said and the doctor nodded. "Laura," I called after the doctor left. "I'm pregnant?" She asked not looking at me. "Yes, the doctor said so," I replied and twin tears rolled down her cheek. "Why are you crying?" I asked and she shook her head, I fished out my handkerchief from my pocket and I used it to wipe her tears but she kept crying. "Laura you have to talk to me, I can't help you if I don't know what's going on, so talk to me, what is wrong?" "I am pregnant," she said crying. "So? Is that a problem?" I
