Chapter 68: Rumors of the Past
Lockers were closing and opening like it was the last day of school, but it wasn't remotely close. It was a new day with the chance for a new start for everyone, including Julie.
I wished Easter break lasted longer. It was nice being home. I thought I was getting sick of school. English was a breeze today. It had basically become essay after essay about every book we read. There was really no thought into the curriculum at this point since graduation was just around the corner.
"Hey, babe." Chase grabbed my hand and spun me around before lifting me off the floor for a kiss. Every second was intoxicating.
"Hiya," I said with a smile and nuzzled into his neck.
