"You don't know anything about me," she cried and looked around the room.
"No, we don't, but we could," Chase said kindly. I fell in love with him for a reason. He acted like a hard ass sometimes, but he was a sweetheart deep down.
"Every one of you is so cruel, and the worst part is you get away with it." Julie started to cry harder.
"Out! Out everyone out!" the teacher shouted, pushing kids out of the class. They wanted to stay and watch, so she was shoving them out of the way.
"Julie, just put the beaker down, okay? We don't want to see anyone else get hurt," I said, looking at her sympathetically. This could have been me a few months ago.
"Why? No one cares," Julie said sniffling. She was still holding the beaker up, but her grip looked less strained.
"We care, Julie. You've had a hard start at this school, but we want to help you," Chase expressed our feelings.
