"What?" Naomi leaped to her feet, her eyes shining with cold anger. "How dare that bitch take my position?"
Helena sighed. "Now that she has Harrison Spencer supporting her, there's nothing she wouldn't dare to do," she said, relatively calmly.
"But that is my position!" Naomi protested, unwilling to accept the news. "If she takes my job, then what about me? What am I supposed to do?"
The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. She stomped her foot in frustration. "Dad, why did you agree to this?"
"Did I have a choice?" Charles' expression was dark. "If I didn't agree to this, she would've fought me for the CEO position."
His tone shifted. "Which do you think is more important, your position as the Project Management Department's director, or my position as the CEO?"
Naomi had no answer to that.
Helena took her hand and softly comforted her, "Alright, Ami. Your father wouldn't have given your position to Serena if there were another way."
"But…" Naomi was about to argue
