Chapter 80 Cheering Her Up
When Harrison carried Serena out of the bathroom, her eyes were slightly red. Her face was etched with exhaustion and hurt. The moment he placed her on the bed, she curled up under the blanket, putting as much distance between them as possible.
Harrison couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. He took his time walking to the other side of the bed, then gently tugged at the blanket, uncovering her head just enough so she could breathe. "Are you mad?"
Without a word, Serena turned her back to him. Her voice was hoarse, thick with indignation. "You bullied me! Can't I even be a little mad about it?"
"You can," Harrison said softly, his tone gentle. "But don't suffocate yourself in there."
She didn't turn around or respond.
Harrison sighed, then decisively pulled the blanket away and scooped her up into his lap, holding her securely.
"If you're still upset, you can bite me," he offered, lifting his arm in front of her.
This time, Serena didn't hesitate. She sniffled, grabbed his arm
