"Ronald, is this why you called this board meeting?" Charles asked in an accusatory tone, his expression darkening with frustration.
Ronald remained composed. His tone, as always, was steady and firm. "Even if Serena had no intention of challenging you for the CEO position today, she's still a shareholder of Linden Group. As such, she's fully entitled to a seat at this table."
Neil nodded in agreement. "That's right."
Charles' sharp gaze darted between the two of them, realization dawning on him.
