Charlotte. “So, what happened?” Laura's voice brought me out of my revire and I shook my head. “I, uh, maybe we should talk later. You know, since there is someone there and you have a date?” I squeaked and Laura hissed. “Silly. I just told you to talk. Do you want me to repeat my words from earlier?” I faked a gag, and I could hear the underlying humor in Laura's voice. “Eww. Don't have me puking all over the house.” Now, I felt a bit better than earlier, all thanks to Laura's silly jokes. I felt like I could actually breathe. “It's, Tea. Oh. Sorry, Charlotte.” I heard Laura saying to someone in the background. “Won't you introduce me to your mystery man?” I teased and Laura laughed. “Though you were never going to ask.” She laughed. Almost immediately, I got the pop-up of Laura asking to switch to a video call and I accepted. “Hey.” She greeted with a lazy smile playing on her lips. However, the first thing I notice is she doesn't look like she's outside or set for a date.
