First, I checked the placard and then I slid into the driver's seat and started the ignition. Here I come Lottie.
Before I flew into the city, Harold had fixed up Charlotte's apartment. The furniture and every other thing we're in place, and I begged him to get me an apartment close to hers.
Luckily, there was one on sale and I immediately bought it. The last tenant had moved due to some personal reasons, and it turned out to be perfect for me. The apartment was neither too flashy nor rundown.
Plus, since it might only be for a while, at least until I understood where I stood with Charlotte, I could suck any complaints I had up. Every other thing would fall in place then.
Soon, I got to the airport, and after properly parking, I walked into the lobby and held up the placard that read her name. Charlotte William.
