Chapter 130: Fallout

Damian "Lockwood Industries is recently under fire, but it’s not for reasons you might think," the reporter said in a condescending tone, tilting her head from side to side. "The conglomerate owner, Mr. James Lockwood, recently posted that they must cease doing business with the tech company, Galon Incorporated, and all its subsidiaries." Of course, I knew that. I thought to myself as I drummed my fingers against my thigh. I’d received the email a few days ago, putting me slightly out of sorts, but well. After all the stress of the lawsuit and even getting Blake to pay out of his nose to us, Lockwood still pulled out. The co-owner, Harold Smith, issued a statement to us over the past few days, saying he would not be making any further comments on the actions until his other partner had spoken. Please let it be known, the other partner remained as elusive as ever. Still, we have word that Mr. Benjamin himself will be showing up at the gala for his company and will, presumably, talk.
