Chapter 12 Surprise.

Charlotte. “Hey. Open the door.” Laura pinned on my door with urgency. She has been doing that for a few minutes now, but I wasn't paying her attention. “Tell me. Let me give you some pointers as a veteran that I am.” She giggled. “You are crazy, Laura. Go away. I don't want to talk to you.* “But you love me like crazy.” Now, I didn't reply to her anymore. Since I was done packing my bags for tomorrow's journey, I laid on the bed and watched the ceiling fan blades spin. I was surely going to miss this area and everything about it. I would miss living so close to Laura and her crazy antics. Many other things, but Laura topped the list. For this house however, I guess I might not miss it too much. Laura loved this place, so she decided she was going to renew the rent and keep the place. I could always visit anytime I came over though I wasn't sure how often that would be. She was my only family and it was going to be weird staying away from her since we've always been together.
