CHAPTER 44: CAPTIVE PUP, AGAIN.

Talia's POV "The rouges attacked."  I looked up at him in disbelief. "How?" I thought there were guards in place to prevent this; how had I been left so vulnerable and uninformed? If Gale hadn't come when he did, I would have been dead. "Are you hurt?"  Really, was that even a question right now? I felt tears clouding my sight, and I guess he did too. He put a hand around me to help me up.  "Let's get you back into your room."  We passed a lot of rouges helping their wounded colleagues get on their feet. Luckily, I hadn't spotted anyone with fatal injuries, just the occasional skin wounds.  We passed by Reina's room, and I noticed how there were guards surrounding the door and entrance.
