ZANE'S POV I reached for the small piece of cheap gem and crushed it with my finger. “He's asking for war!” I could feel my wolf getting agitated. I wanted to crush someone's head, and that person was Valak, the Lycan King. We've been sworn enemies for years, and while attacks have been made, none have ever been made on either's immediate family until now. “Calm down, Zane; I don't think it's him.” Gale walked up to me, and I turned to him in rage. “Reina found Zirconia, Gale. His kingdom is the only one that deals with Zirconia.” “Yes, but that is his trade. Anyone could get their hands on zirconia. Whoever did it must have recently visited Moon's Nirvana or been trying to instigate you against Valak.” Gale explained. “Why would they need to do that when news of our rivalry is known everywhere?” I glared at him. “Exactly. Think of it like this: to start a war, you have to turn someone against someone they trust. That would take years. But for you and Valak...” He trailed off.
