Chapter 13 WHO IS IN DANGER?

AUTHOR S POV: ' I think you should tell him how you feel at the right time, Lea said understanding her friends feelings. ' No. you are misunderstanding me. I do like him but as a friend. We have such an age gap. And on top of that, he is nice to everyone. Mia replied the same thing for the past few minutes after sharing her worries with her one and only friend. ' Are you sure that is the reason you don t accept your feelings or is it just you are afraid of confessing to him? Lea asked making her question herself as well. ' ? am pretty sure. Leave this matter. I was asking you about something else and look what you are talking about now. Mia changed the topic not wanting to speak about something which gave her some weird feeling inside. She kept her eyes on the moon thinking how fast her life was going just in days. Even if she did like him, she was afraid of getting rejected. And the poor girl was unaware of the reality. ' I need to find a solution for everything before it s too late. Mia made eat clear to herself aiming to do something big before going to bed. It was another boring day for her as she ended up with her mixed thoughts which were becoming an endless loop for her. Not knowing she smiled and blushed to see his handsome features under the bright sunlight. She was pretty sure she had some type of admiring feeling for him for sure. Saying a hi didn t seem harmful and she decided to go to him when another lady wearing an extremely short dress ran out of the shop and hugged him from the side making Mia stop in her steps. She knew he didn t have any family or friends. And a lady dressed like this can only be his mistress. She turned around instantly before she got noticed by him as well. She felt heartbroken seeing him like this. She still couldn t believe why she was ready to cry any moment seeing him like this. But soon released she liked him a lot. ' Why this long face? Lea asking coming back. Mia looked back at her friend showing her sad face to her. ' Did someone bully you? What happened girl? Lea asked looking around to see what troubled her but soon her eyes caught Henry speaking to that girl holding her hand. She understood instantly and grabbed Mia s hand. ' Let s go. She said taking Mia along knowing her friend was heartbroken right now. ' don t think about it a lot. It was just a temporary attraction to someone perfect like him. Lea said comforting her bestie knowing it wasn t that easy to do so. ' I am not that sad. It was just a little upsetting surprise. Mia replied not wanting to show her sadness to her bestie making her worried as well. Mia was finally able to control her thoughts and decided to put an end to her miseries. And that was only possible when she will go away from this place. She decided to leave soon so she can get back to her life as living here would make her face him and she didn t want that at all. ' I didn t see this young lady for quite some days. She heard the familiar voice from behind. She ran away from his thoughts and hid in the garden when he visited her on his own. ' Same here. She said making him disagree with his thoughts as he had some other plans for her. ' Why can t you settle here completely? That way you will not miss out on things like this. He said trying to make her stay here willingly softly before he makes her his. ' that s not possible and I will be leaving after attending the marriage. I can t stay here forever you know. Said a deep, husky voice in the dark who was listening to their secret talk, and that voice belonged to none other than the evil king himself.
