The room fell silent as she made her grand entrance, her presence demanding the attention of everyone in the room. The door had swung open with a theatrical flourish, revealing a vision of beauty and grace. The room seemed to shimmer around her, the spotlight from the overhead chandelier catching the golden highlights in her hair as she glided across the polished marble floor. Her long, flowing gown swished around her, the vibrant red fabric a stark contrast to the muted, more casual attire of others in the room. Isabella brought her cup of coffee to her lips to hide the big, goofy smile that had stretched across her lips. Señora Valerie, Isabella's Abuela, glided across the room to her armchair, lowering herself to it. The two Detectives stood up immediately. " Buenos días, Señora Valerie," they greeted in unison. It took everything Isabella had not to burst into laughter at the look on their face. Oh Abuela, you really do send giant men scurrying for their safety.
