CHAPTER 55: The Harder To Let Go

He didn't want Linda to face that, even if everyone blamed him later, it didn't matter. Linda understood his thoughts. The longer she spent with Luke, the harder it was to let go. She hurriedly bid farewell and left the penthouse as if escaping. But just as she walked halfway, she felt a bit dumbfounded. She got carried away for a moment and forgot that the car she came in with Levi had already left. She had no means of transportation. Linda felt lost. She could have Levi come to pick her up now, but that would undoubtedly let Brandy know that she and Levi hadn't broken up.
