CHAPTER 42: I Am Sorry Linda

　 "Today, I publicly acknowledged you as my daughter and the lady of the Lucas family. But I want you to know, no matter what, you're still my daughter." Brandy’s voice is filled with genuine emotion. 　　 Linda is uncertain about Brandy’s sudden change in attitude, but she's sure he must have some use for her now! 　　 Brandy deserves the title of master storyteller that Linda just gave him. 　　 Right now, he's smoothly lying without drafting out a story, explaining to Linda why he treated her the way he did before. He claims it was because he misunderstood Felicia’s loyalty and was manipulated into confining her. 　　 This misunderstanding extends to Linda, leaving Brandy dissatisfied with her as well. 　　 Now that the truth is out, Brandy pledges to make it up to the mother, daughter and son. 　　 "You should know, even when I didn't like you, I still wanted to hand the company over to you in the future!" Brandy speaks off the cuff, nearly making Linda burst into laughter.
