CHAPTER 22: The Disgrace

Emily couldn't really see Linda’s expression, but in Emily’s mind, Linda’s usual, disdainful expression appeared uncontrollably. It seemed that in Linda’s eyes, nothing mattered; she stood above everything else. Emily has always hated Linda, especially her arrogant gaze. She hated Linda especially since she couldn't surpass her in anything! This made thought made her even more frustrated. For this exhibition, she had barely passed the preliminary review, while Linda had been rejected. She thought she had finally won, wining over Linda. But what she didn't expect was to see Linda suddenly become Vincent’s honored guest! She couldn't afford to lose again! Never! She won’t allow Linda watch her loose face in front of the audience. She had to do something. Thinking about this, Emily calmed down instead. She finally raised the microphone and began to explain her design concept. Linda couldn’t understand why Emily was throwing resentful glances at her. How does this affect her?
