CHAPTER 146: Disheartened Linda

‘’Mom…’’ Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he gazed at her frail figure. He took her hand in his and as Levi held Felicia’s hand, his eyes welled up with tears. He could see the frailty in her body, the weakness in her eyes, and it broke his heart. ‘’Brandy is such a wicked person!’’ he said ‘’What has mom done to Brandy for her to be treated this way!’’ Linda, sitting beside Felicia’s frail form, her voice trembling with emotion, replied, ‘’He’s absolutely despicable! A monster, with no conscience! ‘’I can’t believe he’s our father!’’ Her words dripped with Venom, her anger and hatred towards Brandy visible. As Levi prepared to leave, Linda walked him out to his car. ‘’Be careful, Levi, and stay out of trouble,’’ She cautioned, her eyes filled with concern. Levi smiled and pulled her into a warm hug. ‘’Don’t worry, sis, I’ll be fine. Mom will be okay. She’s a fighter,’’ he whispered reassuringly Linda nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her twin brother.
