Chapter 39 Interview
After hanging up the phone, Eliana sat there for a while, lost in thought. Then she opened her computer, polished her resume, and sent it to several companies through job platforms.
By the time she finished, it was already dawn.
With nothing else to do, Eliana decided to take a bus to the cemetery.
She buried her parents together in one place.
Next to her parents' graves, there was a small unnamed tombstone for the child who never had the chance to be born.
She placed the flowers she brought in front of the graves, feeling like she had a lot to say, but every time she tried, no words came out.
