Chase and Archie contacted Austin again, asking if they could visit him at the hospital. In fact, their goal wasn't just to visit but to discuss the case. They were aware of the assassination attempt on Austin before his transfer. Moreover, it was clear to everyone who had sent the assassin. The police station was no longer safe. Ever since Austin's transfer, Chase and Archie had only been able to communicate with him by phone regarding the case. Not only Austin but also his parents had lost trust in them. Knowing this, they hadn't insisted on face-to-face meetings with Austin in recent days. But now, they needed Austin to identify some suspects in person. Hearing Chase's request, Austin paused before asking, "Can you really make decisions on this matter now?" There were things Chase couldn't say over the phone. He simply replied, "I can tell you that the situation is much better than it was initially." Austin said, "Whether you can visit isn't up to me. I'll have to ask them
