Dillon's expression flickered with confusion. "Child?"
Seeing his reaction, Estelle's mockery deepened.
"What's the matter? Are you trying to say you haven't married Alison and that the child isn't yours?" she questioned loudly, almost losing control of her emotions by the end.
Estelle let out a self-deprecating laugh. She didn't want to care, but Dillon's behavior was too much. What did he think of her?
Dillon stared at Estelle for a moment, then lowered his gaze. He wasn't stupid. He could tell Estelle had misunderstood his relationship with Alison.
Dillon chuckled in frustration. "Alison's child isn't mine. We're not even divorced yet. How could I be with Alison?"
Before he could continue, Estelle slammed her hands onto the table, rising to her feet. She glared at Dillon. "What do you mean? What do you mean by 'not divorced'?"
At first, Dillon despised her so much that she even signed the divorce agreement, but in the end, they didn't divorce.
