It seemed from Dillon's words that he intended to leave Estelle's things where they were.
The housekeeper hesitated for a moment and quietly reminded him, "Mr. Waverly, aren't you planning to marry Ms. Harrington? Since you and Ms. Sawford are divorced now, these things…"
Dillon shot him a sharp look, immediately silencing the housekeeper, who didn't dare even breathe loudly.
He lowered his head in fear. "I understand."
He quickly signaled the maids to put everything back in place.
Dillon went upstairs to his study and once again took out the divorce agreement.
No wonder Estelle wanted a divorce in the end. She must have known her time was running out.
Someone knocked on the door after some time.
Baxter cautiously opened the door and walked in. Upon meeting Dillon's cold, terrifying gaze, he shivered and forced a smile. "Do you need something?"
