Samantha was the one who had been betrayed by Joseph, and Harold thought she should have the final say in this matter. If she chose to go through with the divorce, then Harold would see to it that her wish be fulfilled despite the ten lashings Joseph took. Samantha's gaze fell on Joseph's unconscious form. Indescribable emotions coursed through her, and she found herself caught in a dilemma. "Grandpa, I'm not really sure what to do, either," she admitted in resignation. It would seem cruel of her to divorce Joseph after he took the ten lashings to keep their marriage. Besides, she had loved him at one point. She couldn't make a snap decision about their marriage. Upon sensing her hesitation, Harold decided to present her with the third option. "In that case, why don't you spend some time with Joseph? Once you've made up your mind about him, let me know."
