Chapter 32 Memories
In the pitch-black night, a light flickered in Theo's eyes, and his cold demeanor seemed to soften as warmth spread through him. He replayed Sierra's voice message over and over.
Although they had only parted less than an hour ago, his longing for her felt like a web, growing thicker by the minute.
He lowered his gaze to the profile picture of Sierra on his phone. In his narrow eyes, there was a tenderness that felt endless, mingled with a faint, almost imperceptible glimmer of darkness.
