Chapter 293 Support
If Theo had someone he liked, then so be it—they could just get a divorce. That had been Sierra's plan from the start, anyway.
As for that kiss, she'd just pretend she got bitten by a dog.
She would bury the unusual feelings lingering in her heart deep.
After drying her hair, she stepped out of the bathroom and paused when she saw Theo sitting against the headboard, frowning at a document. She quickly regained her composure and took a pillow. "I'll sleep in the guest room."
Theo's expression darkened. His thin lips pressed together as he got up and blocked her path. "Why?"
Sierra avoided his gaze and tried to keep her voice steady. "We are not suited for sharing a room."
His expression remained unreadable. "A married couple isn't suited to share a room?"
She choked on her words. Technically speaking, not only was it appropriate, but it was also legally justified.
Yet…
Seeing that she was still holding onto the pillow, unwilling to let go, Theo's eyes flashed with helplessness.
