Jace's plan was almost the same as Sage's. From what they knew, Sienna was seemingly 'sold' to Peter by Lucas in order to save Luna. However, these were all part of Jekyll's game. Lucas, Sienna, and Peter were all Jekyll's pawns. Lucas and Sienna were easily manipulated, but Peter, on the other hand, was not just any other pawn. He agreed to Jekyll's plan only because he had his own plan to execute. From what they had learned about Peter, he was a through and through opportunist. He did everything with benefits in mind. From an outside perspective, it might seem like the reason he had a successful career was because of his wives, but his fathers-in-law always seemed to be more successful than his previous ones.
