Sage scratched her head. "I haven't practiced in a long while. It isn't that great. I hope you like it."
Tim stood beside them and said, "You better open it after you get on the plane. I'm scared it would hurt my eyes because it's too ugly."
Sage fell silent and glanced at Tim. She silently thought, 'Even if I write with my eyes closed, it's still better than your handwriting!' However, Sage was good at reading moods and dared not say that out loud.
A small smile tugged at his lips. He looked at Sage and thanked her, "Thanks for the gift."
Sage answered with a nod, "Have a safe trip."
Sage looked at Yale's leaving figure and felt a little melancholy. She did not know when they would meet again after this separation. They had their own lives. Perhaps, this was what it meant to be an adult.
