Chapter 723
The driver's lips twitched. My head felt foggy, and I wasn't sure if I was seeing things, but it looked like he glanced at my side before turning back and starting the car.
As the car began to move, I finally felt some relief, but the heat that the cold wind had briefly pushed down surged back up again. The car felt stuffy and unbearably warm, so I instinctively took off my coat and unbuttoned two buttons on my pajamas underneath.
But it was still too hot. My fingers moved down, reaching for the third button, when a large hand suddenly covered mine, stopping me.
