As I trudged through the thick snow to the office, Bruce had already been waiting in the conference room for almost half an hour. Alongside him were John and Jensen. When I entered, Bruce raised an eyebrow and said nonchalantly, "Having an extra option does make a difference. You've learned to put on airs." I brushed off the snow from my coat and replied calmly, "Sorry, Mr. Harold. I was planning to head straight to Helix Group's office. I rushed over here when I heard you were coming. The snow was heavy, so it took me some time." John quickly said, "We understand, Ms. Fisher. You're always punctual and wouldn't be late without reason." Glancing at Caroline sitting across from them, I asked deliberately, "Did Mr. Harold come here this early to tell us something important?" Caroline glanced at Bruce, then ventured, "This is something for him to answer. I can't possibly guess his intentions."
