Caroline told me that the presentation had spiraled out of control. After reviewing the character designs done by Jonah, Bruce had criticized one of the male characters, the one with the bootlicker personality. He had singled out the character's appearance and attire, and even the protagonist's tucked shirt, and told Jonah to redesign. The proud Jonah naturally hadn't been able to tolerate this. However, Cindy had stepped in to smooth things over, saying that Bruce had made valid points and suggesting that Jonah make the changes. "What happened next?" I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration. "Then, the meeting ended," Caroline vented angrily. "I can't believe Cindy. How could she embarrass Jonah in front of Bruce? Jonah stomped off after that." I grew worried and asked, "Where is he now?" "He's not answering calls. But he said he won't change the designs. Unless we change investors, he won't work on this project anymore.'" Caroline paused. "What should we do now, Nance?"
