"Xavy, don't say such things. You're making Ms. Jennings uncomfortable," Yovanna said with a helpless look. Miranda gave a slight smile and replied, "Mr. Schneider is right. It's still working hours. Please, feel free to give any orders." Xavier caught the sarcasm in Miranda's tone and shot her a look of disapproval. Miranda had worked with Xavier for seven years. No one in the world understood him better than she did. And that was exactly what bothered Yovanna. Sometimes, people fixated on the qualities they felt that they lacked the most. Miranda had already figured out how Yovanna's mind worked. She went to the pharmacy to pick up Yovanna's medication. On her way back, she spotted a man hurrying out of a restaurant and getting into a car. Miranda stopped her own car. She had almost forgotten about him. It was Jordan. There was no way he could mess with her and get away with it without facing any consequences. Miranda smirked. She took out her phone and quickly messaged
